We believe exploring your future in design should be a deeply relational experience.
At the UVA School of Architecture, our greatest asset is our people. What makes the A-School distinctive is a collaborative community where architecture, landscape architecture, architectural history, and urban and environmental planning intersect through creative inquiry, rigorous studio culture, and a shared commitment to shaping a more just, sustainable, and inspiring world.
We invite you to schedule a conversation with our Director of Admission to learn more about our programs, our community, and the opportunities that await you at UVA.

Our Academic Programs
Undergraduate
All undergraduate students begin in our interdisciplinary pre-professional program, giving them the flexibility to explore their interests before choosing a path of study. Through a common first year, students engage with design, the built environment, and pressing social and environmental challenges alongside peers from across the School. At the end of the first year, students declare a major in Architecture, Architectural History, or Urban and Environmental Planning, and can further customize their academic experience through a variety of minors offered within the School.
