M.S. in Data Science - Residential or Online

We offer our Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) in both residential and 100% online formats. Both options follow the same 33-credit curriculum, including statistical analysis, machine learning, data engineering, data ethics, and data visualization. The primary difference lies in the delivery method. 

Earning our MSDS degree, whether online or in-person, opens up new and exciting career paths. The format depends on your learning style, schedule, and career goals - and we can't wait to help you find your best fit.

Ph.D. in Data Science
The Ph.D. in Data Science is a research-intensive program is full-time, in-person, in Charlottesville, VA. It is not direct-match, meaning you do not need to connect with faculty prior to applying. We fully fund our students with tuition, health insurance, and an annual stipend.
