Are you interested in becoming a reading specialist? Join us to learn more about UVA's two online programs approved for adding the K12 reading specialist endorsement to your Virginia teaching license: an M.Ed. program (30 credits) and a post-graduate certificate (21 credits). Our coursework is designed for reading practitioners to strengthen their understanding of science-based reading research and evidence-based literacy instruction for all students, including those with dyslexia or other reading difficulties. All course content is aligned with the requirements of the Virginia Literacy Act and with the statewide training provided by UVA’s Virginia Literacy Partnerships.
